Polack: A Small Minded Film

Directed by InterStitch founder, James Kenney, Polack is a documentary film about the search for the source of the Polish joke. Many ethnicities have been the subject of jokes – often these same jokes; however, the Polish joke is the longest running one in American history.

The films director travels to contemporary Poland, in an attempt to better understand his Polish heritage and ancestry, but only to find new levels of rejection. Interspersed throughout the film archival and entertainment footage elaborate on the depths of the Polish and the source of their derision.
