Design
An unpublished logo proposal for the Variance Records identity. Designed to capture the abstract, avant-garde spirit of the likes of composers John Cage, Phillip Glass, and the Kronos Quartet.
A modified version of the typeface Din serves
as a basis for this identity. Clean lines accent the strong form of the logotype. The incomplete V cube serves to emphasize the experimental and pioneering nature of the label's artists.
