This one minute trailer was created for the intended imagined DVD re-release of a classic movie without using any footage from the movie, in this case Star Wars. The trailer's text was written to reference the distinct language used in Star Wars trailers and to poke fun at extremefans.
The visuals represent the archetype effects common in science fiction. Premiering in 1977, Star Wars has inspired countless films from Tron, to Blade Runner, to the Matrix Trilogy, this teaser borrows and alludes to those films as well.
